1、 Background and purpose

The International Peacekeeping Development Foundation Center of the United Nations International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) is a non-profit organization that closely cooperates with the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) within the framework of the United Nations. Its purpose is to support the global cause of maintaining peace, security, and development by raising funds, promoting projects, promoting cooperation and dialogue.

2、 Main functions

1.Fundraising: The Foundation Center provides financial support for various peacekeeping and development projects by accepting donations from governments, businesses, individuals, and international organizations.

2.Project promotion: Collaborate with governments, non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, etc. of various countries to jointly plan, implement, and promote projects aimed at reducing conflicts and promoting peace and security.

3、 Key projects

1.Humanitarian rescue:The foundation center will provide emergency humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts. This includes providing essential items such as food, medical care, and shelter to meet their basic living needs. In addition, the foundation center will also cooperate with local governments and civil society organizations to ensure that humanitarian aid can be delivered to the affected areas in a timely and effective manner.

2.Peace and Security Education: Promote peace and security education globally to raise public awareness of maintaining peace and security.

3.Post conflict reconstruction: providing reconstruction support for post conflict areas, including infrastructure construction, economic recovery, social harmony, etc.

4.Combating transnational crime: Supporting police forces in various countries to strengthen their efforts in combating transnational crime, including drug trafficking, smuggling, terrorism, etc.

5.  Technological innovation and application: Encourage the application of technological innovation in maintaining social security, combating crime, and improving the ability to maintain peace and security.


The Malaysian branch maintains close contact with institutions such as the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) Centre and the International Commission on Human Rights, and regularly publishes project implementation guidelines.
